Galaxy
In Loving Memory
Dearest Galaxy,
Our hearts ache, we miss you more than words can ever say. We were so very lucky and blessed that we had you so long. You gave us our love and passion for the Great Dane breed and we are so proud of all your accomplishments, your sweet loving nature and your wonderful gift of giving to others. You gave happiness to many sick, ill and injured people and later as you aged we only did Hospice visits where you gave much needed comfort to those ready to cross the rainbow bridge. I know in my heart that all the people whose lives you touched were there to embrace you with open arms as you crossed. We will cherish our wonderful memories and you will always, always be part of our hearts. We Love you sweet beautiful girl Galaxy.
Galaxy passed just shy of her 13th Birthday, July 2009. She was a rescue Dane and lived with us about 10 years. Galaxy had a hard start when she came to us, being very ill & emaciated. We nursed her back to health to find she lived to be petted and loved everyone. Lisa trained and certified her as a Therapy dog and they made a great team. Galaxy did many, many visits in her younger years, and then moved on to Hospice visits as she got older. What a wonderful ambassador to the breed this girl was, she will be forever missed.
Galaxy brings some much needed joy to many.
